Erma Fire hosted an in-service for the New Chevy Volt cars. where we learned areas to be aware of in the event of coming upon one of these vehicles in an emergency situation. This was open to all first responders. Also In attendance were members of U.S.C.G. Fire, Townbank Fire, Middle Twp. Police, and Cape May County Prosecutors Office.
We would like to thank George Wehner of Burke Motor Group for his time and his very informative in-service on the Chevy Volt. The information provided to us will help us greatly when dealing with this type of vehicle in an emergency.
