A welder's torch sparked a fire at around 12:30 p.m. in the processing plant at Lund's Fisheries. Companies responding included 62-Erma, 61-Town Bank, 59-US Coast Guard TRACEN, 60-Villas, 51-Cape May City, 72-Rio Grande and Lower Twp. Rescue Squad. The Middle Thoroughfare Bridge, adjacent to the Lunds complex, was closed for approx. 1 hour during firefighting operations. |
